Washable Prefilter Cells - WPC

These are filter cells composed of a prefilter media in an aluminium casing and galvanised wire mesh screen. These cells are available in any frontal size in standard thickness of 12mm and 22mm while for the 48mm and 100mm thick cells, the medias are pleated to obtain more filtering surface.

Due to their versatility, these filter cells are used in the most common filtration segments of air handling units, ventilating air conditioning systems and in the pre-filtration of higher efficiency air filters.

Disposable Pleated Air Filter Cell - WR40

This filter has an extended filtering surface cells due to their dense filter medium pleating which allows it to achieve a filtering surface/front surface ratio up to 7:1. The filter medium has been specially designed in order to obtain a drastic reduction of the pressure drop combined with a very high dust holding capacity which allows it to increase the filter life-time. The filter media is enclosed in a structure all made from rigid and particularly treated cardboard. This self-extinguishable non-woolly filter medium has a supported grid which does not rust on both sides of the media. Concept offers a wide range of sizes with thickness of 25mm, 50mm and 100mm. Max. Arrestance 91% (ASHRAE 52/76) with average efficiency of 25%. These filter cells are usually used as prefilters in air handling units, industrial plants and processes where a very high air flow rate with a minimum overall size is required.

Medium To High Efficiency Rigid Air Filter - FTR

The FTR range rigid bag filters are very high efficiency air filters (65%, 85% 95% ASHRAE 52-76) and they are specially studied in this particular form in order to allow greater air volume treatments with minimum overall sizes. Filter medium is made of thickly pleated micro-fibre glass paper with thread separators with an extended effective filtering surface of up to 18.5m². They consist of antishock plastic which is totally burnishable without emitting any toxic gasses. Sealing is done using cold-foamed polyurethane. The FTR range of filters are made to allow an easy assembling with a built-in flange.

FTR rigid bad filters are used in air handling plants, air conditioning systems, air purification from thin dusts such as smokes, smog, pollens, bacteria, etc.

FTR range of filters are available in three different sizes:

Trojan Dust Collector Filter Bag

Bag filters are widely used for dust removal in industrial atmospheres, using different systems like mechanical shaking, pulse jet and reverse air. Fabric dust collectors have a wide range of applications for dust removal from air with a potential performance superior to that of other types of separators.

Dust-laden air flows through a cloth tube (sock) or envelop (or flat bag) where particles larger than the fabric interstices are deposited by simple sieving action. A cake of dust is quickly formed on the air-entering surface of the cloth.

In terms of efficiency, non-woven (felted) fabrics are more efficient than woven fabrics. Increasing efficiency naturally means a reduction in permeability. Efficiency increases (and permeability decreases) in service because of cake effect and is normally higher than its new (as made) efficiency after use and cleaning. The selection of fabric is thus essentially a compromise between efficiency, cleanability and permeability.

Available material are Polyester, Nomex (singed or glazed) and Polypropylene.
